![[monsoon_012-35mm.png]] (Map: Borneo) This is a Blender cycles render. I took a small house on the outside of the Borneo map and cut the two windows to look into the cabin and added the window sills. I made the exhaust pipe and the sheet metal a little more metallic. I used trees, shrubs, and props from Borneo and other maps to create the environment. The skybox is also Borneo's. --- - (2022-1-3) - I am pretty happy with this. I'll change the chair and the rifle shadow (maybe?) to appear through the window, but 35 mm seems to be the way to go! Clearly a standard when you're not sure what to do. ![[monsoon_009-35mm.png]] - (2022-1-2) - I'm pleased with how this came out. It's not completely done, but it's gotten to a decent point. I'd like to add some mist or dew, some wetness to the leaves and to the roof and wood. - Tomorrow I'll move the large tree in the foreground. ![[monsoon_006-wide_angle.png]] - It's interesting to see how the wide angle makes such a difference in the look and feel. I enjoy looking at different angles like this. ![[monsoon_005-cycles.png]] ![[monsoon_004-evee.png]] ![[monsoon_003.png]] ![[monsoon_002.png]] - I darkened the skybox. I played a bit with the sun's lighting. ![[monsoon_001.png]] - I removed the lock from the door; I colored in a discoloration. - I added trees and grass; I extended the horizon. I repositioned it with its world background (Borneo). - I added a sun, a light pink, light dawn, but the angle is not correct. --- I'm taking a small house on the edge of Borneo and making modifications to it, but planning to keep the environment and general feel of Borneo. Here is the original house I've extracted. ![[monsoon_000.png]]
